In Compaq Fortran 77, you can use certain intrinsic functions that
allow compatibility with older versions of Fortran. These intrinsic
functions and their equivalents are as follows:
- AND: Equivalent to the IAND generic function (see Section C.2.3)
- OR: Equivalent to the IOR generic function (see Section C.2.3)
- XOR: Equivalent to the IEOR generic function (see Section C.2.3)
- IMAG: Equivalent to the AIMAG and DIMAG specific functions
(see Section C.2.2)
- LSHIFT: Equivalent to the ISHFT generic function with a
positive second argument (see Section C.2.3)
- RSHIFT: Equivalent to the ISHFT generic function with a
negative second argument (see Section C.2.3)
