The MB400 scanning module scans MAILbus 400 Version 1.0 and later on
OpenVMS and MAILbus 400 Version 1.0 and later on DIGITAL UNIX. The
scanning module checks the version and produces a Version record.

use on OpenVMS systems, that makes many checks that are similar but
some that are not: see Chapter 7.
