The XCH scanning module scans for NT events, but - although noting the number that Windows NT provides for each event and returning it in the Monitor record - the scanning module cannot scan for a particular event. Some scanning modules, running on OpenVMS or DIGITAL UNIX systems, can scan for particular DECnet-Plus events and assign different severities accordingly.
