Overview - Installing DCE
This topic is an overview of how to use the DCE installation and configuration script, dce_config, to install the DCE binaries built for your platform. Once the binaries are installed, you can configure the system as described in Configuring DCE.
The dce_config script is supplied by OSF as part of the DCE offering. Your system vendor may provide an alternative method of installing the DCE binaries. If so, refer to the vendor's documentation for instructions.
