This topic describes the valid character sets for the GDS attributes.
The values of the country attributes are restricted to the ISO 3166 Alpha-2 code representation of country names. (For more information, see the OSF DCE Administration Guide.)
The character set for all other naming attributes is the T61 graphical character set. It is described in the next topic.
