3.8.1 TCPIP$CONFIG コマンド・プロシージャからの IVP の実行

TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS のメインのコンフィギュレーション・メニューで，オプション 7 (Run tests) を選択します。次の例のように「Test」メニューが表示されます。

3.8.2 OpenVMS DCL プロンプトからの IVP の実行

3.8.3 TCP/IP Services インターネット・コンフィギュレーションの検証

TCPIP$CONFIG 「Test」メニューからオプション1またはオプションAを選択するか，またはコマンド行で TCPIP$IVP コマンド・プロシージャを実行する場合， IVP は，次の例に示すように，TCP/IP Services ソフトウェアの基本的なコンフィギュレーションをテストします。この例では，テストは正常に終了します。

3.8.4 SNMP コンフィギュレーションの検証

TCPIP$CONFIG「Test」メニューからオプション2またはオプションAのいずれかを選択すると， IVP は，次の例のように SNMP サービスをテストします。

3.9 追加のコンフィギュレーション作業

TCPIP$CONFIGを実行して，ネットワークに必要な機能と構成要素を使用可能にした後は，製品アプリケーションへのアクセスを可能にするため，追加のコンフィギュレーション作業を終了させる必要があります。 TCP/IP Servicesには，環境に合わせてソフトウェアを変更したり，カスタマイズできる管理コマンド・インタフェースと論理名が用意されています。

追加のコンフィギュレーション作業には次のようなものがあります。

サービスの多くは，追加のコンフィギュレーション作業や最適化を必要とします。各サービスのコンフィギュレーション方法についての詳細は，『 Compaq TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Management 』を参照してください。

3.10 コマンドによるTCP/IP Servicesの起動と停止

第 3.10.1 項 で説明するように， OpenVMS スタートアップ・ファイルのコマンドを使用して， OpenVMS システムがスタートアップまたはシャットダウンした際に， TCP/IP Services を自動的に起動または停止することができます。これらのコマンドは，システムにインストールされているすべての TCP/IP Services 構成要素の起動または停止を行います。代わりの方法として，現在実行中の他の TCP/IP Services 構成要素に影響を与えることなく，個々の TCP/IP Services クライアントまたはサーバ構成要素の起動または停止を行うこともできます。個々の構成要素の起動または停止についての詳細は， 第 3.10.3 項 を参照してください。

3.10.1 TCP/IP Services の自動起動と自動停止

TCP/IP Servicesソフトウェアをシステムの起動時に自動的に起動させ，システムのシャットダウン時に自動的に停止させるには，
SYS$COMMON:[SYSMGR]SYSTARTUP_VMS.COMファイルを編集して，次のコマンドを追加します。 


@SYS$STARTUP:TCPIP$STARTUP

システムに以前のバージョンの TCP/IP Services がインストールされていた場合には， UCX$STARTUP.COM ファイルと UCX$SHUTDOWN.COM ファイルが存在している可能性があります。これらのファイルはもう適用できないため，これらのファイルに関係する定義はすべて，SYS$MANAGER:SYSTARTUP_VMS.COM から削除してください。

OpenVMSアカウントへログインした後にTCP/IP Servicesが起動するようにしたい場合は， OpenVMSのシステム単位のログイン・プロシージャ (通常SYS$MANAGER:SYLOGIN.COM)のworldの読み取りと実行の保護 (W:RE) が設定されていなければなりません。

現在の保護を表示するには，次のコマンドを入力します。

3.10.2 TCP/IP Services の手動による起動と停止

3.10.3 個々のサービスの起動と停止

TCP/IP Services をすでに実行しているシステムでは，システムで実行中の他の TCP/IP Services 構成要素に影響を及ぼすこともなく，また TCP/IP Services を再起動する必要もなく，個々のサーバまたはクライアント構成要素のコンフィギュレーションを行うことができます。

ほとんどのサービスは，単独でシャットダウンしたり起動したりすることができます。これは，パラメータや論理名を変更する際にサービスを再起動する必要のある場合に便利です。

次のファイルが提供されています。

サイト固有のパラメータ設定およびコマンドを保持するには，次のファイルを作成します。これらのファイルは， TCP/IP Services を再インストールしても上書きされません。

これらのファイル名で，service は，起動またはシャットダウンするサービスの名前です。たとえば，NTP サービスをシャットダウンするには TCPIP$NTP_SHUTDOWN を使用します。

3.10.4 ユーザ作成サービスの起動と停止

TCP/IP Services では，ユーザ作成サービスの起動および停止を行うためのコマンド・プロシージャを提供しています。ユーザ作成サービスを起動するには，次のコマンドを入力します。

3.11 TCP/IP ServicesをDECwindowsアプリケーションのトランスポートに指定

TCP/IP ServicesをDECwinsowsアプリケーションのトランスポート・インタフェースとして使用可能にするには，次の行を SYS$MANAGER:DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.COMコマンド・プロシージャに追加します。
