Ordering and Availability Information

This chapter describes ordering and availability information for the DECwindows Motif documentation.

2.1 General Ordering Information

Printed, hardcopy versions of the manuals produced by HP are only available as part of one of the following kits and can no longer be ordered individually:

2.2 Installation Documentation

Table 2-1 lists the titles and part numbers for the DECwindows Motif installation documentation currently available from HP.

Hardcopy versions of these manuals cannot be ordered individually. The individual part numbers are provided for reference purposes only. Instead, you must order the full media kit or enroll in the DECwindows Motif update service.

Online versions of these manuals are available from the DECwindows Motif CD-ROM and from the DECwindows Motif section of the OpenVMS Documentation web site. See Section 2.1 for information on accessing online files.

The DECwindows Motif documentation was designed to accompany the manuals described in this section. Formerly, HP shipped these manuals with the DECwindows Motif documentation set. To allow you to choose the specific type and quantity of manuals you want to purchase, HP no longer includes the third-party manuals in the DECwindows Motif documentation set. You must order these manuals through their respective companies or their authorized dealers.

Other publishers have produced documentation sets about the X Window system and Motif. Although the DECwindows Motif documentation set was not specifically designed to incorporate these manuals, they nonetheless provide useful information about X Windows and Motif.
