3.3.9 The Logical Section (on OpenVMS Systems)

Use this section to specify the name of a logical name that the Mail Monitor will scan.

3.3.9.1 General Rules for Logical Names

• If a logical name exists, Mail Monitor produces a Monitor record with status information.

• If a logical name is not found, Mail Monitor produces a Monitor record.

3.3.9.2 Values for Logical Name Checks

• VMS_Table=name

  The name of the OpenVMS table.

• Severity=error_level

  The severity level for a problem, as defined in the note at the beginning of Section 3.3.
