This manual contains information about developing and debugging Compaq C++ programs on and OpenVMS VAX systems, and includes information on other OpenVMS features and tools that work with Compaq C++.

This manual is intended for experienced programmers who need to develop Compaq C++ programs on OpenVMS VAX systems. Users of this manual should have a basic understanding of the C++ language and some familiarity with the DIGITAL Command Language (DCL).
