Names of Cells

After the global root prefix, the next topic of a DCE name contains the name of the cell in which the object's name resides. The name of a cell can be expressed as either a GDS name or a DNS name, depending on which global directory service (GDS or DNS) the cell is registered in. The following subtopics provide examples.
